This originally came from my friend Ruth. It's delicious and easy.
My rendition of a Moosewood Restaurant recipe. After the first 2 steps, I stick it all in a crockpot and cook on low for 4-5 hours. Great for pot lucks -- it's vegan if you leave off the garnish.
An easy but elegant meal in one dish -- free of gluten.
